Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap is a powerful mantra written in Sanskrit language, whose power is so much that even death is averted by its chanting. It is also known as Sanjeevani Mantra. It is believed, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is more useful not only in healing of physical nature but also for mental peace. This mantra is dedicated to THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION  Shiva.

The Mahamrityunjaya mantra is found Rigveda. This mantra was formulated by Sage Markandeya.
